About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

From USA to Philippines to Beijing then back to USA

I fly from USA on Sept 3 to Manila Philippines. Leave Manila on Sept 8 arriving in Beijing at 11am leave Beijing on Sept 11 at 4pm back to the USA. Do I meet the requirement for 72 hr or 144 hr TWOV ?

You meet the requirements for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing since 72 hour TWOV was replaced with 144 hour TWOV a couple of years ago. You should just take care that your flights to and from Beijing don't have any additional landing within mainland China.
