from usa to philippines to beijing back to usa

From US flying to Philippines then leaving Philippines Sept 8 arriving in Beijing at 11am leaving Beijing Sept 11 at 4pm do I meet the requirement for 72hr or 144 hr TWOV requirement?

Max, you didn't mention where will you go after Beijing. If you intend to leave Beijing for some third country by direct flight, but not the Philippines, you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing area, since 72 hour option was replaced with 144 hour option a couple of years ago.
