About:Chinese Embassy in Ghana

I had 100% scholarship for my PhD programme, do I still need bank statement.

Please, what are the documents do I need to submit to the embassy for the visa

You will need:
1.Original passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of application,with 2 or more blank visa pages.
2.Photocopy of the information page and extension page(if applicable) of the passport.
3.One fully completed Visa Application Form with a recently-taken color passport photo(full face,front view,and bare head, against a light background, size 48X33mm) attached.
4.Applicants should present both original and photocopy of their medical examination record,Medical Examination done in Ghana should be notarized.
5.Original and photocopy of Admission Letter issued by the university.
6.Original and photocopy of Form JW201 or Form JW202.
7.Sponsorship letter, photocopy of sponsor’s ID card, photocopy of previous school’s certificate, original of academic transcript need to be notarized and legalized by relevant Ghanaian authorities.
8.Applicants should present Original Bank Statement within latest four months and the statement shall be signed and stamped by the bank, or proof of documents in case of obtaining scholarship.
