About:China Visa Application Requirements

I am going to China for PhD but I want to take my wife also with me so what can I do for this?

In normal cases, your wife can apply for an S1 visa while you are applying for the student visa. But during the pandemic situation, I'm not sure whether your wife can get the S1 visa.
