Will I be allowed to stay at a Shanghai hotel with a 24 H Visa?

Travelling Singapore-Shanghai-Montreal.

Yes, you can enjoy the 24 hours visa free policy. But if you want to leave the airport, you need to apply for the Stay Permit when you arriving at the airport.
