About:China Tourist Visa

Cruising from Japan to Beijing, two nights stay. What type of visa do we need?

We are sailing on a cruise from Japan to Beijing.We will spend two nights in Beijing then back to uk.What visa do we need and what will it cost.
Also as we are over 70 not needing fingerprints do we still need to pick up visa personally or can it be posted to us if we do it online?

Ann, if you enter Beijing from a port in Japan, and then fly from Beijing to UK without any other landing in mainland China or Japan, you will be eligible for the 144hrs visa-free transit. It's free. You don't need to pay anything for it.
