144 Transit Visa Validity?

We are travelling from Uk to Yokahama and then cruise to Tianjin/Beijing and returning from Beijing within 144 hours. Does this qualify for transit visa?

Kathy, so your route involving Beijing is Yokahama - Beijing -Tianjin - UK? If so, do you have any stop between the Tianjin - UK leg? if it's out of China and Japan, then you are eligible.
