About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

I hold a South African Passport and live in Cape Town.

I Intend to fly to Beijing on the 3rd of October 2019 and 4 days later on the 7th leave China through the Port of TIANJIN on a Cruise Ship.
Do I need a Visa, what is the Cost , Can I apply online or in your offices in Cape Town and what is required?

Dear, you need a single entry visa. You can't apply online but need to go to the China Visa Application Service Center in Cape Town to submitthe application. The cost is ZAR 800 in total. You will need the following documents: passport, application form, recent photo, and flight and cruise tickets.
