About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

8 hours layover in Beijing airport from Canada to Auckland (NZ), Canadian citizen needs visa?

Hi,
I'm traveling from Canada to Auckland with Air China with an 8 hours stop in Beijing with Canadian passport. I do not intent to leave the airport. Do I need visa?

You can do the 24 hour direct transit without visa.
