About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 h Visa

Would this be an OK travel plan to obtain 144h visa? Fly into Guangzhou from Sweden, leave by pre booked ferry from Zhongshan to Hong Kong and then fly back to Sweden from Hong Kong. Flight tickets would be Stockholm - Guangzhou and Hong Kong - Stockholm.

Your itinerary is fine, but I would like to add a few details:

- Port of Zhonghsan is eligible for visa free transit option and your best way to get the tickets (in reality an e-confirmation) is through CKS - Chu Kong Passenger Transport company website. You should print out this e-confirmation and have it in hard copy. You will arrive with this e-confirmation in Zhongshan port where it will be converted into real, paper ticket.
- You are mentioning a flight from Stockholm to Guangzhou, but at the time being, there are no direct flight between the two cities, so your itinerary has additional stops. They are fine as long as they are not in mainland China and Hong Kong

OK thank you. Yes, additional stop are needed but they are not in China.
