Cruise Visa?

I am travelling from the UK to Beijing in October for 5 days, then cruising for 12 nights, with an overnight stay in Hong Kong, then finishing in Singapore , would I need a China Visa for the first 5 days?

After you board the ship, if the first port of call you arrive at is located in a third country (except China and Uk), you will get the 144-hour visa-free transit. otherwise, you will need a visa.
