Can i still go to Guangzhou during the 144 hours?

Hi if i enter Shenzhen from Hong Kong by MTR and get 144 hours visa. going back to HK. Can i still go to Guangzhou during the 144 hours?

Anders, if your itinerary is Hong Kong - Shenzhen-Hong Kong, you are not eligible for 144h visa exemption transit.

You need to fly to Guangzhou and have pre-paid ticket back to HK to take advantage of 144 hour transit without visa. There is option of a 5 day Visa on Arrival (it's not free) but that does not allow travel outside of the Shenzhen special economic zone
