About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Will I need to apply for a visa for this layover?

I have a Malaysian passport and I’m flying with Air China from Singapore to London and I’m transiting in Beijing midway for 2 hours. Will I need to apply for a visa for this layover? I’m not planning to leave Beijing airport during the period of transition. Thank you.

No, you will not because your itinerary is perfectly covered by 24 hour visa free transit. I just hope that your entire itinerary is on a single (through) ticket provided by Air China because 2 hours of layover is relatively a short time for such a huge airport Beijing is.
