About:China Visa

144 hour visa, Is this ok

I intend to fly on a one way ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Shanghai with a 2 hr stopover in Hongkong.
I will have a one way tiket to fly out of Shanghai to NZ. I have a australian passport and live in NZ.
Is this ok
