About:China 72-hour Visa

Can I make use of the 72h transit if I fly with different airlines?

Hey there, I will be coming to Shanghai from Yangon and will fly to Bangkok next. I will be coming with Spring Airlines and fly to Bangkok with another airline. Is this okay?

Follow-up question. The check-in for my next flight only opens 24h before departure. Anyone had problems with that aka not being able to show a seat but just a confirmed flight ticket?
