About:Chinese Clay Figurine Museum

US citizen layover 11 hours in Kunming

This is my first time having connection in Kunming with an 11 hours layover arriving 8:00 pm and departing 9:00 am the next day. Is there hotel information near the airport with shattering buses? Do I need the 24 hours free visa pass or not to exit and enter the airport for sleep?

There are several good properties around the airport where you can have a good sleep. Also, some of them offer free round trip airport pick-up and the price for and overnight with a breakfast is about 333 CNY. Just take a look at Booking.com and you will find the property that is really high placed in the reviews. As far as your exit is concerned, you will apply for 24 hour free entry permit upon your landing in Kunming. You will immediately enclose your hotel booking that has to be in hard copy. Your chances to be granted an entry permit are really very good.
