About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

3 DAY STAY IN CHINA BEFORE MY CRUISE FROM SHANGHAI TO JAPAN BACK TO SHANGHAI

Please advise if the following schedule is eligible to 144 hour visa free transit rule:

24-Oct Arrived Pudong International Airport@ 4pm ; check in at Holiday inn
25-Oct Tour only Shanghai
26-Oct Tour only Shanghai
27-Oct Hotel checkout @ 12 pm - to Cruise Terminal
27-Oct Depart Wusangkao International Cruise Terminal @ 4 pm- Via Royal Caribbean
28-Oct Sea
29-Oct Stay Osaka Japan
30-Oct Stay Osaka Japan
30-Oct Stay Kobe Japan
31-Oct Tokyo (Yokohama )Japan
1-Nov Sea
2-Nov Sea
3-Nov Back to Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal Shanghai China; same day flight back to US

Your itinerary is definitely eligible for visa free transit in Shanghai twice in case that your flights to/from Shanghai are arriving/departing directly from/to US and without any additional landing in mainland China and in Japan.

During your first stop in Shanghai, you will be covered by 144 hour visa free transit.

During your second stop in Shanghai, you will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit.
