About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

transit 144 hour visa

I fly from Australia to shanghai on the 15/8/19 arriving in shanghai on the 16/8. we depart shanghai on the majestic princess on the 18/8 on a round trip to 4 ports in japan arriving back in shanghai on the 26/8. we fly back to Australia later on the 26/8/19 . what kind of a visa do we need for Shanghai?

John, if both routes are like Country A - Shanghai - Country C, you will qualify for the 144h visa-free transit, so that the visa is not required.
