About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24H Permit beijing - shangay

I plan on travel to thailand on december. The first flight is Milan - Shangai (14h) - Bagkok and the return flight is bangkok - Beijing (12h) - Milan. Can I apply for the 24h visa in both cases and get to tourist in beijing and shangai?

You don't need a visa for your connections on China. Whether you can leave the airport or not is the decision of the immigration officer on the day.
