About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

72hours visa exemption transit in Shanghai and Guangzhou

Do I qualify for a free transit visa if I am travelling from Australia to Hong Kong, Hong Kong to Shanghai then to Guangzhou. I will then be traveling from Guangzhou to Bangkok. I will only be in China for less than 72 hours, however will be arriving and departing from different airports.Thanks, Sally.

Sally, your itinerary is not qualified for actual 144h transit without visa as the policy limits only one transit zone in mainland China.
