About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hong Kong - Guangzhou - country C

Hi,

Does the 24 hour visa qualify if i take a train from HK to Guangzhou then take a flight from Guangzhou to country C ?

If it does i'm assuming i just show the customs at the HK/Shenzhen border a plane ticket to country C thats due to depart within 24 hours - with all the valid documents mentioned ofcourse?

No, you are not allowed to do that. The only option to enjoy 24 or 144 hour visa free transit in Guangdong province with the starting point in Hong Kong is to take a direct flight from Hong Kong to Guangzhou.
