About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hours visa-free transit

Dr. Morcos will arrive in Beijing on September 6 at 5:15 am and his flight leaves again on September 13 at 6:45 am. That is just a few hours over 6 days. Can he still take advantage of the 144 hours visa-free transit?

That is 7 days, not 6. It's 169.5 hours, so not really "just a few hours over". The clock starts at 00:00 on the day after arrival, so he must leave before 23:59 on September 12.
