About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do i need apply for a 24hr transit visa before i fly

I am a united kingdom passport holder traveling from New York and transit for 4 hrs in Guangzhou China then fly to Bali. do I need to apply before I fly for a transit visa ?

New York - Guangzhou - Bali

Makes you perfectly eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in Guangzhou. You will just declare at the check-in in New York that you will fly to Bali, via Guangzhou using 24 hour visa free transit. You will present your tickets and be allowed to board the plane. That's it.
