Yes in principle, but we miss several very important details of your itinerary to supply you with relevant answer. OK, I will write down several details that have to be fulfilled for you to be eligible for 24 and 144 hour visa free transit:
- Your flight from, assuming UK, to Beijing should not have any additional landing within mainland China and in the country where you will have your first port call, immediately after departure from Tianjin.
- Your cruise should not have as the first port call, immediately after Tianjin, a port in mainland China
- Your cruise should travel to at least two countries
- Your cruise should not have its last port call in the same country where it will have its first port call, immediately before your arrival in Tianjin
- Your cruise should not have its last port call, immediately before Tianjin, in mainland China
- Your flight from Beijing to Singapore should not have any additional landings within mainland China and in country where your cruise had its last port call, immediately before your arrival in Tianjin.
Basically, your entire itinerary should look something like this:
UK - Beijing (Tianjin) - South Korea - Japan - Beijing (Tianjin) - Singapore
If this is case, or some other combination within a cruise, you are eligible for 144 hour visa free transit during your first arrival in Beijing (Tianjin) and for 24 or 144 hour visa free transit during your second arrival in Beijing (Tianjin).
I encourage you to share your itinerary with us to determine whether all the conditions are met or not.
