About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit at PEK < 24 hours .

Good morning , l may landing Beijing Airport by Nov 3 early morning and depart Beijing for Europe by midnight Nov 4 , 2019 ( likewise l may transit the same Beijing Airport landing by Nov 9 noon and depart for Singapore by midnight Nov 10 , 2019 ) needs visa ? As l m Malaysian . Thank you .

Dear Sir / Madam , as a Malaysian passport holder , this is definitely a good news that l been waiting for years 👏👏👏

That meant l may need not to apply visa prior to arrival at Beijing / Shanghai / Guangzhou / Xian International Airports for transit flights at a duration < 24 hours and may leave the said airports for a city visit .

Wait a moment, nobody said you can leave the airports for a city visit. Although you don’t need a visa, entry to China is still at the discretion of the immigration officer. You may have to stay at the airport, especially on shorter transits.

No, you don't need any kind of visa because you will be in transit through mainland China for a time shorter that allowed 24 hours. In other words, you are definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit.
