Cruise - 144 Hour Visa?

I am flying into Beijing on June 9th and will embark on a cruise in Tianjin in June 12th. The cruise will head to Japan and then back to Tainjin on the 17th. I will fly back to the US on the 17th. Does this trip qualify me for the 144 Hour Visa?

Thanks!

Of course it does. It is important to have in mind that your flights to and from Beijing should not have any additional landing within mainland China and Japan. Also, your cruise should not have any additional port calls immediately after and immediately before Tianjin.

On more detail... During your first stay in Beijing area, you will be covered by 144 hour visa free transit and during your second stay, you will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit because your entire time of transit from cruise to your flight will be less than 24 hours.

Of course, you should use correct terminology because we are talking about 24 or 144 hour visa free transit, so there is no any kind of visa and, please, don't use wrong terminology like 144 hour visa or similar. There is no visa at all.
