About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

144 hours Visa free transit frm Hong Kong International Airport to SHENZHEN

When we arrive Hong Kong International to SHENZHEN where can we have the VOA at the office LUOHU Port by bus or Subway and Train

Our flight arrive at 06.30 Am, we can take then bus or the Subway to Sheung Shui and the train to LUOHU Port for Shenzhen VOA 144 hours. Is it right or you have a better option ?

Eric, unfortunately, there is no such an option. The only way to be eligible for any kind of visa free transit (including 144 hours visa free transit) for Guangdong province (Shenzhen included) is to fly from Hong Kong to Guangzhou. If you want just to reach Shenzhen without a pre-arranged visa, the only way is to apply for a Shenzhen VOA at border crossing. Anyway, you have to know that Shenzhen VOA is territory limited to Shenzhen Special Economic Zone only. In case that you arrive in Hong Kong until 15:00 (3:00 pm), your best option is to take a ferry from Hong Kong airport directly to Shekou Shenzhen port by ferry. The office at Shekou Shenzhen port for issuing of Shenzhen VOA is open until 17:00 (5:00 pm). If you arrive in some other (later) time, your best option is to take a combination of trains to Lo Wu (Luohu) border crossing.

Indeed, you arrive to early to depart for Shekou Shenzhen port by ferry because the office for Shenzhen VOA is opening at 09:00. So, this is not exactly the best option, although it is by far the most comfortable. The option mentioned by you, to combine bus and train to/from Sheung Shui to Lo Wu / Luohu is probably the most comfortable, although not the fastest one. Never mind... Take this option and you will be just fine.
