foreign passport holder tourist visa

Question

Hi, I am traveling in Russia this summer and hoping to go into China, but could not get a visa appointment in Canada. I am hoping I can get my Chinese Visa while in Moscow. But it says I need to show a work permit. I do not have a work permit, but I will not be returning to Russia, I will be returning to Canada. Is this possible?

Dear, as I know, you can apply in Russia as long as you provide legal stay in Russia. So, I would like to advise you to contact with Chinese Embassy in Russia for confirmation.
