About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

About Shanghai 144 hours visa free policy, additional airports to be added?

Is there a plan or local desire to allow the transit via additional airports e.g. Wuxi?

Beside two Shanghai airports, Pudong and Hongqiao, it is eligible to use Nanjing and Hangzhou airports also, but several other smaller airports like Changzhou, Wuxi, Ningbo and others it is not since they don't have facilities for passengers arriving and departing on 144 hours visa free transit.

Actually, there are no signs that any of them would/could be added to support the passengers using visa free transit. Objectively there is no actual need or plan for such a move.
