About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

Would a ticket arriving in Haikou and leaving from Sanya also be acceptable for the 30d free visa?

The time would work better for us to arrive and leave from different airport

Of course you are allowed to do that. There is no problem at all. You should just announce that fact to the agency that will support you in the process of Hainan 30 day visa free access.
