Transit via Hong Kong on journey out of China

Hello

We are traveling from Singapore directly to Beijing, stopping for 48 hours in Beijing and then flying to Boston in the US from Beijing but connecting in Hong Kong. Is the Hong Kong connection permitted? We won’t be exiting there - it’s a 2 hour connection.

Thanks
Susan.

Singapore-Beijing-Hong Kong is clearly permitted for 144 hours transit without visa if your passports qualify. By the way, if you have Singaporean passports you can visit China for up to 15 days without a visa anyway.
