Your itinerary is eligible for 144 hours visa free transit in Beijing area (Tianjin included), but you have to fulfill just two additional conditions:

- Your flight to Beijing should not have any additional landings within mainland China and the country or territory that will be the first destination of your cruise after you leave Tianjin. For example, if the first port call immediately after Tianjin is Hong Kong, you cannot arrive in Beijing via Hong Kong.
- Your cruise should not have port call in mainland China immediately after you depart from Tianjin. In other words, it is absolutely necessary that your first port call HAS TO be outside of mainland China, for example in South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong or Taiwan.

If your flight to Beijing and your cruise fulfill the above mentioned conditions, you are perfectly eligible for 144 hours visa free transit in Beijing.
