About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for 24-hr visa free transit?

Hi - I am a Philippines passport holder. I have a flight from Manila to Shenzhen, and Shenzhen to Manila. But we are going to HongKong right after we land the Shenzhen airport. Am I qualify for that?

So it means that we need to have Double Entry Visa, instead of Single Entry?

No, you are not allowed to do that. Shenzhen airport does not allow passengers traveling on 24 hours visa free transit scheme to travel to/from Hong Kong or Macau. Also, you have mentioned that you intend to travel from Shenzhen back to Philippines and it means that we are not talking about a transit, but about a visit to China. So, to be able to travel from Manila to Shenzhen, make a visit to Hong Kong, return to Shenzhen and travel back to Manila, you will need a Chinese two entries visa in advance.

Exactly. You need a double entry visa because one entry will be used upon your entry in China at Shenzhen airport and another one upon your entry from Hong Kong to Shenzhen overland.
