About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I travel to guangzhou and get 144 hours visa at the airport?

I am traveling from Denmark to bankok for 1 week. I have my return ticket back to Denmark where I live. Can I travel to guangzhou and get 144 hours visa at the airport?
I have a 🇩🇰 passport.
I will buy a return ticket from bankok to guangzhou.

You cannot get 144 hours visa at the airport. Only transit without visa is available but you are not in transit. The rules are clear: Bangkok-Guangzhou-Bangkok requires a visa. If you fly Bangkok-Guangzhou-Kuala Lumpur (for example)-Bangkok you won't need a visa.
