About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Does the visa free rule apply for travel from Shanghai to Beijing

We are US citizens and will be staying in Shanghai for 3 days before departing on a cruise. Then we will stay one day again after the cruise. Will we be able to travel from Shanghai to Beijing to see the Great Wall without a visa?

No Shanghai and Beijing are in different transit zones.
