About:Hong Kong International Airport

American Airlines then Cathay Pacific at Hong Kong International Airport

I am arriving from LA via American Airlines, connecting flight in 1.2 hrs via Cathay Pacific to Cebu - are the gates far? Are they in the same terminal? I just worry that if my LA flight will be delayed then I might miss my connecting. Thanks.

I think you don't need to worry about it because T1 and T2 are very close with 10 minutes' walk. I'm not sure whether they are in the same terminal, but as long as your LA flight won't delay, it will be fine.
