About:China Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit)

I meet the criteria to apply, apart from one detail, that my wife and I do not own our own property

So, renting an apartment would go against us? Further to this, i am working in a stable job and was given a 5 year work visa, would this also go some way to assist the application?
