About:Beijing Travel

We are US citizens and we will travel from Hong Kong to Beijing to Osaka.

Will we be able to stay in the city for 72 or 144 hours? Also, our time does not start when we arrive, but at midnight the day we arrive, correct?

Yes, you are eligible for the 144-hour free visa transit and the time starts from 00:00 the day following your entry date.
