About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Layover in Macau, arriving in Beijing leaving two days after BY BUS TO Mongolia on 144hr visafree.

Layover in Macau (would this disqualify me?), arriving in Beijing and leaving two days after BY BUS TO THE BORDER (planning on crossing the border to Mongolia by car). Is this possible? Can I present an onward flight but leave the country this way instead? I will be in the permitted area for less than 144hours (the bus route is within Heibei and will be going to another country (Mongolia)

You must get a Chinese visa to take the bus. And you are out of your mind to even consider attempting to deceive Chinese police by presenting an onward flight.
