About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

I reside in Tokyo holding a Russian passport with japanese vias.

I plan to travel from Tokyo to Ulaanbataar via Beijing staying in Beijing hotel for 2 nights on the way to Ulaanbataar and 1 night on the way back.

Do I understand the rules correctly that I can apply for 72 hours TWOW on arrival to Beijing Capital Airport both ways?

Thank you in advance.
