About:China Visa

We are US citizens taking a cruise disembarking in Shanghai

We are US citizens getting on cruise in Singapore we disembark in Shanghai
we would like to stay a couple of days in Shanghai how do we get a free 72 hour visa?
We fly back to US and will have our flight info

Hi,. you can perform the following steps: Inform the airlines when boarding – Fill an Arrival/Departure Card on the flight - Apply the 72-hour permit – Claim the luggage – Go through the custom - Leave airport.
