We are planning a long vacation, traveling to multiple counties, and don't plan to enter china until 10 months into our trip (China will be one of our final destinations). Can we apply for the L tourist visa (Multiple entries valid for 1 year from the date of issue) now while we are in the USA and then enter china 10 months later? I have seen advice online stating that it is only possible to apply a maximum of 3 months before you are expected to enter China. Is this true?
