Shenzhen Visa on arrival for Norwegian citizen

Is it possible for Norwegian passport holders to obtain VOA at Shekou port? I have done this before but uncertain as to whether it is still possible as I have heard different things. (I have a letter of invitation from a Chinese state owned corporation but have not had the opportunity to apply for a multiple entry visa due to schedule constraints)

@zupan many thanks for your reply. Reason for asking is that I have been advised that although the VOA scheme is still in place, Norwegians specifically are no longer eligible for visa on arrival, however you can confirm this is not correct?

Of course it is. Please, just take care about their opening hours and choose your ferry (catamaran) accordingly.

Yes, Norwegian citizens are eligible for Shenzhen VOA. People sometimes get rejected, but not because of their citizenship, but for some other reasons: Turkish stamp in the passport, brand new passport (bring an old one in this case), lack of minimal respect (joking, laughing), lack of proper reason or better to say unwillingness to explain why does one apply for VOA, lack of accommodation confirmation if traveling to SZ for more days and similar...
