About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Arrive Shanghai and leave via cruise ship

We arrive in Shanghai and have two full days sightseeing before joining our cruise ship. The itinerary includes Hong Kong for a day. Will this require us to obtain a Chinese Visa?

Hi, if you don't return to mainland China after going from Shanghai to Hong Kong, you won't need Chinese visa. Otherwise, you need it.
