About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

HK -> Beijing -> Macau -> HK

I'm planning on taking a train from HK (Hung Hom) to Beijing West Stn., then 2 days later take a flight from Beijing to Macau, and finally take a ferry back to HK. Would that be allowed?
