About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour visa free trip to Hangzhou via Hong Kong

Is this route ok:
Coming to China
Finland(HEL)- Hong Kong - Hangzhou
and back
Hangzhou -Hong Kong - Finland(HEL)
There was said that Hong Kong can be destination "A" or "C". But in my case i change airplane in Hong Kong both coming and leaving, of course i have flights from/to Finland.
Thanks for help.

You need a visa or different flights. You’re in transit at Hong Kong twice, and not in Hangzhou.

Your itinerary could become eligible with just one tiny correction. One of your flights, i.e. Hong Kong - Hangzhou and Hangzhou - Hong Kong you should book from/to Macau and you will satisfy all the criteria needed for 144 hours visa free transit in Shanghai area (Hangzhou included). You can easily travel to/from Macau to/from Hong Kong by bus or ferry.
