About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hours visa free transit

My husband & I fly from Manchester to Shanghai Pudong Airport via Abu Dhabi on 23rd August & depart on a cruise on 26th August to South Korea, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore & Australia flying back to Manchester from Sydney Kingsford Airport again via Abu Dhabi. Would we qualify for the visa free transit?

Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hours visa free transit in Shanghai if presented correctly. Please, just check once more whether your first port call is South Korean port. I'm telling you this because in case that your first port call after Shanghai is within mainland China, for example Qingdao, then you would not be eligible.
