About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Vietnamese passport layover in Beijing airport for 10hrs ???

Hi,
I hold the Vietnamese passport, my flight is from London to HAnoi, transit at Beijing airport and need to wait for 10hrs.
Am I eligible for 24hrs transit visa at the Beijing airport ?

Yes, you are definitely eligible for 24 hours visa free transit. Please, just use correct terminology. You will fly visa free and not on transit visa! Also, having in mind that your layover is quite long, so if you wish, you can aplly for 24 hours free entry permit. In case you decide to do so, just bring your tickets and accommodation booking, if your layover is during the night, in hard copy.
