About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Hi does Taiwan count as C from Hong Kong

I would like to travel from Hong Kong to Beijing onward to Taiwan and back to Hong Kong on a New Zealand passport. Would this be possible or is Taiwan not recognized?

Your route Hong Kong - BJ - Taiwan - Hong Kong is perfectly qualified for 144 hours visa free transit. Chinese territories of Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau are considered as third country for 144 hours visa free transit scheme.
