About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Beijing - Arriving by train, Departing by Air

I will arrive in Beijing West Railway Station, from Hong Kong. I will be travelling the overnight sleeper train.
I intend to depart from Beijing International Airport.

Does this qualify me for the 144hr visa?

As long as flight from Beijing is non-stop to a third country (not through HK) then you can do 144 hour transit without visa (visa waiver, not a visa)
